Who We Are

The Mediterranean Dish is the No. 1 online destination for modern Mediterranean recipes and lifestyle. Founded in 2014 by Suzy Karadsheh, a native of Port Said, Egypt, it has grown from a food blog into a multimedia brand that reaches millions of home cooks across our website, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Suzy is the author of two New York Times bestselling cookbooks, The Mediterranean Dish and The Mediterranean Dish: Simply Dinner, and appears regularly on national television, including the Today Show. Beyond recipes, we run an online shop of olive oils and spices sourced from Italy, Spain, and Greece, and lead culinary tours through the Mediterranean.

We’re a small, close-knit team based in Alpharetta, Georgia, working from our home studio and corporate office. Everything we make is built to help people cook and live the Mediterranean way, with bold flavor, simple ingredients, and joy at the table. This role sits at the center of how millions of people experience that.

About the Role

Video is at the heart of this role — someone who can film and edit food and lifestyle content that’s built for social from the first frame, with the pacing, hooks, and visual instincts that make people stop scrolling. This person stays sharp on what’s trending on Instagram and brings that instinct into how they shoot and edit. Alongside that, they bring a strong eye for food and lifestyle photography, food/prop styling, and directing a person naturally on camera. This is a creative partnership: working closely with a food creator and social media manager to bring their vision to life — the steam rising off a dish, the pour, the crack, the bite, the candid laugh — and turning it all into scroll-stopping video first, and beautiful photography alongside it.

This role calls for someone highly creative but also deeply collaborative — able to take direction, run with feedback, and show up with a willing, can-do spirit every time. This is a pure asset-creation role — no posting or account management required.

A strong portfolio is required to be considered for this role. Please include examples of food/lifestyle video, editing specifically for social platforms, photography, and (if available) portrait or styling work.
