Suzy Karadsheh is a true daughter of the Mediterranean. She was born on the coast of Egypt in the bustling cosmopolitan city of Port Said, the North entrance of the Suez Canal, and just a boat ride away from places like Italy, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Palestine, and Israel.
She started The Mediterranean Dish in 2014 fueled by a passion for sharing the recipes of her homeland with her Michigan-born daughters. It has since grown from a blog into a multi-media company with two cookbooks, The Mediterranean Dish: 120 Bold and Healthy Recipes You’ll Make on Repeat, and The Mediterranean Dish: Simply Dinner, an online store featuring the best olive oils, spices, and kitchen essentials from across the Mediterranean, and culinary travel tours to beautiful Mediterranean countries like Italy and Greece.
In 2022, Suzy invited other voices from across the Mediterranean to lend their expertise, talents, and personal experiences to The Mediterranean Dish, further cementing the brand as the No. 1 resource for vibrant, flavorful, and exciting modern Mediterranean recipes.
